If you want to gain new skills and advance your profession, learnerships are a fantastic option. Learnerships for 2023 are already available, and we always have the most up-to-date information for you.
You will receive training toward a full qualification when you enroll in a Learnership Program, but you will not be required to pay study fees. In fact, you will be compensated in the form of a stipend when you apply for a Learnership. This means that you will be paid monthly while serving on the leadership team; the amount you will be paid is determined by the Learnership’s academic level.
BANKSETA: Letsema Learnership Programme 2023/2024
This Learnership offers you the opportunity to gain 1 year’s work experience as well as an NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking Service Advice relevant to the Banking sector. Applications from Persons with Disabilities are also welcomed.
A monthly allowance of R3 500 will be paid to the successful applicants.
Education Requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate with:
- Minimum pass of 50% in English
- Minimum pass of 50% in Accounting OR a minimum of 50% in Mathematics OR a minimum of 60% in Maths Literacy.
Additional Requirements:
- Currently unemployed.
- Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record.
- Under the age of 35 as at 1 February 2024
- Currently not participating in a learnership.
- Not involved in any other studies from 1 February 2024
- If you are a Disabled Person, Please provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability.
- Only South African citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered
- Effective communication in written and verbal English
