Eligibility Criteria of NEET SS 2023

Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree from an accredited institution, or its equivalent.
Students in their final year may also apply for NEET-SS 2023.

Syllabus for NEET SS

NEET SS exam is divided into two sections, A and B. The type of questions asked are PG Next level.

Paper A of the Question Paper 

  • Part A of the paper is an MCQ-based question for the eligible feeder broad specialty course
  • If you have opted for a single feeder broad specialty course for super specialty, Part A will include questions only from one broad specialty.
  • Part A will include questions from all the eligible feeder broad specialty courses
  •  The cardiology question paper will include three feeders broad specialty course i.e. General Medicine, Pediatrics & Respiratory Medicine.

Part B

  • It includes 60 questions from the concerned super-specialty
  • The questions will include topics of PG Exit Level  from clinical practice and basic sciences

NEET SS 2023 Exam Pattern

Mode of Counselling: Online

A total of two rounds will be conducted wherein, candidates will be required to register for each round separately. After the NEET SS counseling registration process for each round, aspirants will need to provide their preferences of colleges as well as specializations into which they wish to take admission. On the basis of these preferences, NEET SS rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment of NEET SS 2023 will be done.

Once the seats will be allotted, shortlisted candidates will need to report at the respective college for completion of the admission process and document verification. Before reporting at the colleges, aspirants will need to download the NEET SS allotment letter indicating the personal details, category rank, date and time to report at the colleges. In case, if the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted college, he/she can opt an option for withdrawal/refusal and can appear for NEET SS counselling subsequent rounds.
